a giveaway walk in the park.

We're off to what will likely be my last trip to Torres del Paine before we move to California. The weather has been beautiful the last couple of days, so we're taking advantage of still owning a car (which we will hopefully be able to sell before we go!), and driving up for some light hiking day-trip style.

In the meantime if you haven't already, you can enter my giveaway here.

{to win these hippie handmade stunners}
Do you hike or is there anywhere to hike near where you live? What are your favorite places to explore?

Hi, Thanks for popping by my blog. I love hiking, I live in the Lakes District in England, so lot of great places to hike; and it is Wordsworth country, harking back to your previous post, so lots of daffodils here! (Although in April not October)

Oh weeeee hike. I must say though, it is not my favorite thing. I'd much do an intense, good run that hiking all day - but you HAVE to hike here! haha :)

Hello! I used to hike more than I do! In Scotland there are lots of fantastic places to walk - mountains, forests and beaches. I've climbed volcanoes in Guatemala, to a glacier in Switzerland, hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park........but often my favourite is to walk at Tentsmuir Beach, with the beach and sea on one side and the forest on the other....and all only 6 miles from my house!

Have a great day hiking Heather and a lovely weekend :)
And I don't hike much where I live now (down south/east in Norway) but I used to do it a LOT up north!

Because you have been in my country already, so you know that it is a hiking-paradise! :)
You can live in a capital, like I do, and still have just a couple of minutes to the first forest or a meadow.
Within an hour of driving you can be in an Alpine ski resort or swimming in the Mediteranean sea. :)

How good is that! :) - but I still hope to see Patagonia some day! :)

Have a great Sunday!
