In my nest research yesterday, there was so much more I wanted to share! Like these wall decals from Simple Shapes on Etsy.
Or another necklace from Wildwonderful's Etsy (who is currently away, life is like that...)
We don't know how much longer we'll be here, could be another 2-6 months. So, our current nest is temporary to be sure. Temporary's length is what keeps me up at night, woolgathering + worrying...

What helps you gather your thoughts?

To gather my thoughts I like to listen to music, read, or write.
I find it difficult to sleep when I worry and I am always worried.
Not always- but often.
Oh wow, I adore those wall decals!
How cute is the necklace?! xo
ohh i love that necklace, so gorgeous! you've really shown how beautiful nests can be.
taking a drive, by myself with the radio up and the windows down has become my thought gathering ritual. :]
the wall decals are cutesy!
staring out the window or sitting on our roof.
Heather that necklace is just beautiful!
When I'm feeling scattered I try to sit still and calm my mind. Something I have been working on for the past couple years is practicing silence. It is so therapeutic. Once I get calm it is so much easier to collect/organize my thoughts and move forward.
Also helps to do this when I'm sitting quietly on the beach!

Carrie
I love that tree...I love love love this post:)

The wall decals are lovely. i would like a few in my home.
To gather my thoughts, I either write it down in a journal, in list form or even speak out loud to myself.
O, that's all so lovely!
Absolutely adorable. I love your blog.
Hope you can check out my blog. We are currently having our first giveaway. :-)

I LOVE that necklace!!!
I try to take a deep breathe and normally I find myself just sitting there looking in the distance.
Such lovely images!! Cleaning and organizing helps me straighten out my thoughts. It's like mental de-cluttering :)
PS Can you please remind me who won the Cupcake Challenge? I haven't heard anything from that person yet and am afraid I have lost track of Cuppies adventures so I wanted to follow up. Thanks!
Oh, that little bird's nest necklace is absolutely adorable!

thanks for the sweet comment on my guest post at marthas!
Cute decals. It's worth collecting pretty things for your next nest.
Making lists. Lists always comfort me, just a little bit.
Dearest Heather, Oh, thank you for your comments; I am always encouraged by people who get my messages and come back! AND YOUR NEST projects are lovely. Since blogging, I have come to enjoy birds more and now I am making my own bird art...nests, jewelry, drawings, and other things. They are such sweet creatures and make for wonderful motifs.
Have a great day out there in Chile!!! Anita
ohhh i would hate the uncertainty! especially while nesting. oh my goodness...but isn't it all so exciting? a little? :)
and yes, i've definitely wanted to stay home and just blog before...hahah :)

good post! i would think i like to recollect my thoughts for the day through blogging.. either via text or posting pictures. in addition, i also enjoy reading blogs and forum threads for inspiration when im trying to gather my thoughts.
LOVE the thread nest! When I feel stressed or worried, I make a list of everything that needs to be done. And I slowly mark each one off. It's a great way to stay organized AND it makes you feel accomplished =0)
Cute! I love wall decals!
Lovely decals! Hmm pen and paper are always useful when I'm gathering my thoughts - let the thoughts flow!
Well, you know my feelings on that deer, I assume... LOVE! XX!

my best thought gathering is usually done while driving (i have to have SOMEthing to keep me from going 'road rage' during my stupid-horrible traffic commute home). :P
your nest is where you make it. sounds like you need a nest with wings! (there's an image for you. :P)
I love all these bird things! Those decals are too cute! And that necklace is adorable!
these photos remind me of spring. it's a nice reminder cuz we are heading into fall, and i'll miss spring- i just know it! hehe.
it's usually hard for me to gather my thoughts. but i guess the best time is when i'm about to sleep and just relaxed with no distractions...
those things are to cute!!
That nest necklace is SO adorable! So is the tree wall decal. Hope you're having a great week.
